Once upon a time, there was a little boy. His name was, well it can't be pronounced by anyone of this time, and since the language was unwritten, i can't very-well write it now! But anyway, this little boy was very mischeivous. He liked to run circles around animals until they got dizzy and fell over, and he enjoyed pulling the petals off of flowers, and he always liked to put salt in the sugar shakers. Well one day, as this little boy was running around a cow, an old woman walked up to him. Now this old woman was in fact VERY old, because back then people lived to be so old, they didn't know how old they were. She had been around since the beginning of things and many figured she'd be around until the end of things too. The little boy noticed her presence, and something about her made him stop running. He turned to the old woman and just looked at her. She said to him, "little boy, why are you running around that poor animal?" He thought about it "well because...because if i don't then what will i do?" She began to tell him of all the wonderful things that he could do, like rather than pulling petals off of flowers, he could plant more of them. She went on and on, until the sun had risen several times (it never set, it just rose over and over). Finally she told him of love. Now, back then, love was just a theory. Many of them thought that it was just a crazy old woman's idea of a joke. People didn't fall in love and get married and have kids. People just became, and were, and then weren't. The boy was enchanted by this odd thought of love. What was it? was it real? what would it feel like? Soon after she told him of love, she left him and continued on her way. The boy, however, was still riddled by his thoughts of love, and continued to ponder about it. After several more risings of the sun, he realized that he would have to go out and prove if love really existed. He wandered for ages, stumbling over many lands, until he came upon a little girl. The little girl was not necessarily little in age, but truly in size. He asked her "little girl, do you know what love is?" She replied "why, little boy, of course i know what love is." he was shocked at this answer, for he did not think anyone else knew of love, or what it meant. So he asked her "do you know what love looks like?" and once again she replied "well of course i know what love looks like." He waited for her to explain but she did not. She only stared into his eyes, with her head slightly cocked to one side, and a half-smile on her lips. He thought for a second, but then suddenly, a warm feeling came over him, starting at his toes, and moving upward, until he was filled with it. It was part understanding, but more than that, it was love. He loved the little girl. She was the answer to everything he looked for and everything he needed. He was so excited he did not know what to do with himself. He looked at her and said "i love you". She said to him "why, little boy, i love you, too". And from that came all love, and all beings henceforth. From that, came I, and so it is the story of my life.
